Visit to Roger Brown's house with Intuit- November, 2011


I'm doing a fellowship this year at Intuit, The Center for Outsider and Intuitive Artists this year. In November we visited the house of Chicago Imagist artist, Roger Brown. He had a studio on the first floor and lived on the 2nd floor. He was a big collector of art, made by both trained and untrained artists and he displayed his collection throughout his home. It was really cool to hang out in his house and spend some time with the objects and environment that inspired him as an artist. These are a few of the photos I took during the visit:
